NOTE :
Install each holder to their Original positions,
NOTE :
: Do not rotate the camshafts with the plastigauge
in place.

If the camshaft journal oil clearance measured exceeds the
limit, measure the inside diameter of the camshaft journal holder
and outside diameter of the camshaft journal. Replace the
camshaft on the cylinder head depending upon which one
exceeds the specification.
Standard
Journal holder 1.D. (IN & EX) : 22.012-22.025 mm
09900-20205 : Micrometer (0-25 mm)
Standard
Camshaft journal 0.D. (IN & EX) ; 21.959-21.980 mm
CAMSHAFT RUNOUT
Measure the runout with a dial gauge. Replace the camshaft if
the runout exceeds the limit.
Camshaft runout (IN & EX)
Service Limit: 0.10 mm
09900-20606 : Dial gauge (1/100 mm, 10 mm)
09900-20701 : Magnetic stand
09900-21304 : V-block (100 mm)
EXHAUST CAMSHAFT/AUTOMATIC DE-COMP.
ASSEMBLY
Move the automatic de-comp, weight by finger to inspect if
operating smoothly.
If it does not smoothly must be replaced with a new exhaust
camshaft/automatic de-comp, assembly.
Do not disassemble the automatic de-comp, assembly.
It fs not serviceable.
