CARBURETOR REMOVAL
« Remove the leg shield. (Refer to page 5-2.)
e Loosen the clamp screws.
e Remove the carburetor.
e Disconnect the fuel hose q@) and vacuum hose Q.
e Remove the throttle cable @ from the carburetor body.
« Remove the starter plunger @ from the carburetor body.
CARBURETOR DISASSEMBLY
@ Needle valve
'G) Valve seat

Do not use a wire for cleaning the valve
seat.
e Remove the spring 6) and piston valve with diaphragm @®.
ACAUTION
e Remove the jet needle from the piston valve.
