Smart.Shift technology
Smart.Shift technology switches gear electrically
and has two automatic settings.
SMART.SELECT
SMART.SELECT can be activated by selecting
the <Shift> menu in the settings on the on-board
computer. In this mode, the system shifts into the
selected starting gear automatically when the bike
comes to a halt. This ensures the pedelec starts
up safely, saving energy.

PRE.SELECT
PRE.SELECT can be activated by selecting the
<Shift> menu in the settings on the on-board
computer. In this mode, the system automatically
shifts into the perfect gear for the speed when the
user rides without pedalling. This means that the
user can pedal again when riding downhill without
the pedals spinning uncontrolled or without the
rider needing to shift up or down a gear several
times. PRE.SELECT mode can be configured to
the preferred pedalling frequency.
