10.3 AIR BLEEDING PROCEDURE

If the beam movement is irregular, bleed the air as
follows:

If parameters

have been modified and a value less than the default
has been set, we recommend that you set them to an
equal or higher value during bleeding in order to make
it easier to bleed the air.
1. Open the automation electronically.
2. Once it is open, slightly loosen the bleed screw A
of the piston with the balancing spring.
3. Re-tighten after air, foam or oil has been removed.
4. Carry out a closing cycle.

5. Once it is closed, slightly loosen the bleed screw B
of the piston without the balancing spring.
6. Re-tighten after air, foam or oil has been removed.
7. Bleeding is complete when drops of oil come out
of both pistons and the beam moves smoothly.

If air or foam comes out of the pistons, bleeding should
be repeated.
8. Check the oil level, top up if necessary.

Be careful when doing this as the pistons contain oil
under pressure, which could escape if the screws are
loosened too much.
