Installation Note N5225-90136
This document contains references to legacy and to new A25 HMA26.5
Multiplier/Amplifier and A27/A28 mixer brick assemblies. Your model
instrument may have some combination of legacy assemblies and new
parts installed. Both types of assemblies are compatible with this
upgrade. This note is for your reference, because some figures contain
legacy assemblies that your instrument may not have installed.
If you want to verify your instrument's A25 HMA26.5
Multiplier/Amplifier, refer to
Installed" on page
7.
Your A27/A28 mixer brick might be a legacy part number 5087-7323
(with (x2) discrete 3dB attenuators 08490-60039) or new part number
5087-7417 (with integrated 3 dB attenuators). The legacy A27/A28
mixer bricks and the new integrated mixer bricks, look the same, except
for the addition of the discrete A68/A69 attenuators on the legacy
mixer bricks.
