SETTING THE TIME AND DATE

If the unit has not been used for a long time
Press the DISP button once to check the clock. If
the digits are flashing or nothing is displayed, the
clock has stopped. In this case, reset the clock.
When the clock stops, the recording date and time
are not recorded correctly.
To reset the clock from "00" second
The clock is on even while you are resetting the
time. Pressing the EDIT/ENTER button reset the
clock in the following ways:
¢ Ifthe second digits are between "00" to "29", the
digits return go back to "OO".
* If the second digits are between "30" to "59", the
minute digit advances by one, and the second
digits advance go forward to "OO".
When you remove the rechargeable battery
from the unit
When removing the rechargeable battery or dry
cell batteries from the unit, the built-in back-up
battery works for 10 minutes. To prevent the clock
from stopping, be sure to attach the recharged
battery (or new
dry cell batteries) within 10
minutes.
When the power of the built-in back-up
battery becomes extremely weak
Consult to the nearest Aiwa service personnel to
change the built-in battery. The built-in battery
can be recharged about 10,000 times.
Note
To prevent the clock from stopping, be sure to
connect the unit to AC power or attach the
rechargeable battery or dry cell batteries which
have enough power.
