QUALIFICATIONS
MAINTENANCE
A checklist is included in the front pocket of this manual. Fill in the
necessary information on a copy of the checklist. File the checklist accord-
ing to the Serial Number or Hospital in order to maintain a Preventive
Maintenance history of the unit.
Preventive Maintenance on any unit must be performed by a Qualified
Technician who is completely familiar with the use and operation of the
Injector, trained by a Liebel-Flarsheim instructor in the area of preventive
maintenance for the Injector and familiar with the content of the Operator's
Manual and the Installation and Service Manual.
MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE
Preventive Maintenance should be performed every 12 months.
LEAKAGE AND GROUND CONTINUITY CHECKS

With the unit plugged in, check the electrical leakage with a leak-
age meter, or use an AC voltmeter with the attenuation network
shown in Figure 6-1. The leakage should be less than 100 micro-
amperes. If higher, check for the cause and repair.
WARNING!
If system leakage remains above 100 microamperes, do not use the injec-
tor as it may be a shock risk for the operator. Contact an authorized
service representative.

Disconnect the leakage test equipment.
