When the temperature inside the vehicle has
reached the same level as the outside tempera-
ture, close the doors and windows and start the
air conditioning system, opening the doors and
windows only if needed.

5.2 Preliminary checks

Before switching on the air conditioner for the very
first time:
• On the external unit, check that the side and
rear ventilation grilles are clear and that the
condensate drain holes are not obstructed.
• Check that power supply voltage and frequen-
cy match the required specifications
• Check that air flow through ducts and vents is
unobstructed. To ensure maximum air condi-
tioner efficiency, ensure the external ventilation
grilles are unobstructed at all times.
When first switched on using the remote
control, ventilation and compressor start
after a few seconds. After switching off, the
compressor will not restart until at least 3
minutes have passed.

5.3 Useful tips

• Improve the thermal insulation of the camper
by plugging any openings and covering glass
surfaces with heat-reflecting curtains.
• Avoid frequent opening/closing of windows un-
less necessary.
• Select a suitable temperature and airflow rate.
• Adjust the outflow vents to maximise comfort.
• Clean the diffuser filters periodically.
• Do not obstruct the airflow inlets/outlets with
fabric, paper or objects.
