Using the two M6 screws (supplied), fix the diffus-
er to the bottom of the air conditioner, thus secur-
ing it to the camper roof
It is important to tighten the screws to a tightening
torque of 1.8 Nm, i.e. 0.18 kgm. It is advisable to
use a torque wrench.
Fig. 13
Incorrect tightening can damage the
support base of the air conditioner, af-
fect the fluid-tight sealing and cause
loud noise inside the vehicle when the
conditioner is in operation.
Refit the two previously removed intake filters on
the diffuser. The filters must be pressed into their
seats.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

5.1 Introduction

The power supply voltage must never
be less than 205 V AC, with a stable fre-
quency of 50 Hz.
Outside the specified operating tempera-
ture range, the efficiency of the air condi-
tioner is reduced considerably.
The air conditioners DualClima 8400H, DualClima
8400HB, DualClima 8400HN and DualClima
12500H consist of nine main parts:
• Compressor: circulates the coolant gas inside
the system
• Condenser: cools the coolant by changing it
from a gaseous to a liquid state
• Evaporator: cooled by the change of state of
the coolant, it cools the air passing through it
• 2 fans: these move the air through the con-
denser and the evaporator
• Solenoid valve: switches gas circulation in or-
der to obtain a cooling or heating function
• Remote control: used to programme the de-
sired function
• Receiver: housed in the diffuser, this receives
the remote control signals
• Circuit board: receives signals from the re-
ceiver and converts them into commands for
the various electrical components of the air
conditioner
The
air
conditioners
DualClima 8400HB, DualClima 8400HN and
DualClima 12500H can supply cold air during the
summer and hot air in the winter.
Before starting the air conditioner - after the ve-
hicle has been in the sun for a long time - it is
recommended to open the doors and windows to
let out the heat which has been building up inside.
