Up to 3 rows of text (each max. 30 char-
acters) can be entered for the record
header of the measurement record. Tap
the edit key to edit
Up to 5 rows of text can be entered ("1st
text" to "4th text" each max. 30 charac-
ters; "Comment" max. 60 characters) for
the profile information of the measure-
ment record. Tap the edit key to edit.
The activated texts are queried auto-
matically after every measurement and
can then be adapted to the measured
part.
Entering a user-specific code number
between 0 and 9999 locks the settings
of the roughness measuring device ST2.
The code number must be entered
again to unlock the settings.
Basic view for the evaluation
Idle period after which the screen is
dimmed and locked.
Tapping the display lock symbol unlocks
the screen.
Idle period after which the roughness
measuring device ST2 goes into sleep
mode (unless the power adapter is con-
nected, there is a wired connection to
the computer, or the "Bluetooth / Du-
plex" dialog is open).
Tapping the start key switches the
device back to operating mode.
Idle period after which the roughness
measuring device ST2 switches off (un-
less the power adapter is connected,
there is a wired connection to the com-
puter, or the "Bluetooth / Duplex" dialog
is open).
Assigns a function or parameter to the
freely programmable F1, F2 and F3 keys
in the basic view.
Select the language for the text dis-
played.
Enter the date (the format depends on
the language).
Enter the time (the format depends on
the language).
Select the unit of measurement "mm" or
"inch".
Select the "Light" or "Dark" theme.
Select the profile diagram for the hori-
zontal basic view, the printed record
and the PDF record.
