Displaying the battery capacity

ü Battery is charged
1. Disconnect the roughness measuring device ST2 from the power adapter.

2. Confirm the item [Info] in the menu.
» Read off the battery capacity on the display.

SWITCHING ON THE DEVICE

1. Press the start key.
» Roughness measuring device ST2 is switched on.

PERFORMING THE BASIC SETTINGS

1. Tap the title bar.
» The menu appears.

2. Tap "Basic settings".
3. Set the language, time and date.
4. Select the unit of measurement (mm or in).

5. Tap OK.
» The menu appears.

6. Select light or dark theme.
7. Tap OK.
» The menu appears.

8. Tap OK again to switch back to the basic view.
» The basic view appears.

Lt = 4.8 mm with Lc = 0.8 mm
Lt = 15.0 mm with Lc = 2.5 mm
Traversing length = number N of
sampling lengths x length of cutoff.
Traversing length can be freely defined
(e.g. Lt = 16 mm for MOTIF).
During the measurement, the traversing
length is automatically set according to
the value RSm or Rz (in accordance with
DIN EN ISO 4288 and ASME B46.1).
Single display on title bar "Lt = Auto-
matic".
Number N of sampling lengths (in ac-
cordance with ISO, JIS, ANSI/ASME).
Entry of N = 1 - 16 (only for "Lt = N x
Lc").
Traversing length includes pre-travel
and post-travel that is half the length of
the cutoff.
