Electrical connection
High voltages during connection to the power grid
Danger to life when working with high voltage.
Disconnect the connection from the power supply.

Ensure that the unit is de-energized.

Electric shock due to incorrect connection
There is a danger to life if the cable conductors are connected incorrectly.
Connect the wires correctly according to their color coding.
Risk of injury due to incorrect installation
Use an all-pole disconnecting unit accessible on-site with a contact distance
of at least 3 mm [0.12 inch].
Supply voltage does not correspond to the unit voltage
Before connecting, check that the supply voltage corresponds to the required
voltage on the type plate of the unit.

Observe the VDE,NEC regulations and the regulations of the local power

Connect the unit in accordance with the valid regulations in your country,

state, city or municipality.
Connect the unit to a standardized power grid.

The power consumption, fuses and cable cross-sections depend on the fol-

lowing factors:

– Cable length
– Cable quality
– Power supply
Adapt the connected loads to the local conditions and requirements for a

correct power connection.
