Product Introduction

1.1

Product Overview

RG-MAP852-SF-M is a wireless access point (AP) for new-generation high-speed wireless
networks in scenarios with dense buildings, such as the campus network, dormitory
network, and medical care ward network.
It adopts the latest 802.11ax protocol and dual-radio design. The 2.4 GHz Radio
Frequency Processing Unit (RPU) provides a maximum access rate of 574 Mbps, and the 5
GHz RPU provides a maximum access rate of 2.402 Gbps. In this way, this AP can provide
a maximum access rate of 2.976 Gbps, which breaks through the bottleneck in wireless
performance. RG-MAP852-SF-M provides five wired ports, including four 1000 Mbps LAN
ports and one 1000 Mbps uplink SFP port, for high-performance wired access in
environments such as dormitory buildings.
Important factors such as the wireless network security, radio control, mobile access,
Quality of Service (QoS), and seamless roaming are fully taken into account for
RG-MAP852-SF-M. Therefore, this AP can be used together with Ruijie's access controllers
(ACs) to implement STA data forwarding, security, and access control.

Product Appearance

RG-MAP852-SF-M provides two RF ports, four Ethernet ports, one 2.5G SFP port, one
micro USB console port, and one DC port. The following figures show the product
appearance.
