7. Connection of accessories

This chapter explains the process for wiring the optional and standard accessories to the unit.
Read carefully before starting the connection process.

7.1. Safety instructions for connecting accessories

DANGER
Make sure there is no voltage present on the unit before starting the connection.
Do not switch on the power to the unit until you have successfully made the rest of the connections and the unit
is closed.
Use the Personal Protective Equipment specified in section

If you wish to install the INGECON SUN EMS Board, the card is connected with the same connectors of the
main board that the communications card is connected to via RS-485.

7.2. Ethernet TCP communication connection

The inverter can communicate via Ethernet TCP. In addition, the two RJ45 connectors allow communicating two
inverters through this cabling, without requiring an external switch.

7.2.1. Cabling requirements

For TCP Ethernet communication, use a cable with a diameter of 4 to 6 mm.
The cable must pass to the inside of the unit through one of the two M20 holes available in the accessory supply
area.

7.2.2. Connection process

To make the connection, follow this order:
1. Remove the corresponding cap from the inverter wiring access area.
2. Install a packing gland with a diameter of 20 mm (provided with the inverter).
3. Use the divisible seal to ensure protection.
4. Insert the TCP Ethernet wiring into the inverter through the packing gland installed in the previous step.
