4. If the membrane has been used for passing the cables, check that it is correctly fitted in the unit. If a
packing gland has been used, ensure that it has the correct sealing, leaving a bit of slack in the cables so
they are not tight.
5. Fit the polycarbonate guard.
6. Close the lower compartment.

9.3.2. PRO Version

Limitation on number of strings according to maximum string power Impp
It is possible to connect up to 20 strings with the unit. However, the maximum number of strings connected
depends on the maximum string power Impp for these strings.
The table below shows the limitation on number of strings connected by the most common string powers:

Recommendation for distribution of strings with a maximum string power Impp above 15 A
When strings are connected with a maximum power Impp of more than 15 A, connection to inputs PV1, PV2, PV3
,PV4, PV11, PV12, PV13 and PV14 should be avoided in order to improve the internal heat conditions at which
the inverter operates.
The figure below shows the recommended connection zone.
Assembly of aerial connectors

It is essential to check the polarity of the strings and correctly assemble their aerial connectors to ensure that
the connection to the unit has the correct polarity. Ingeteam accepts no liability for any consequences resulting
from an incorrect connection.
Each string connected to the unit must be electrically independent of each other.
Connection via quick connectors
To ensure the correct operation of the switch, when connecting the strings the numbering must be respected.
That is, string 1 is connected to connectors PV1+ y PV1-. Proceed in the same way for the remaining strings to be
connected.
