2.1.1. Control Supply Connections (TB103)

N O T E : This product requires two power supply connections. The Motor Supply and Control Supply
must both be connected for proper operation.
The control power supply input allows the Ensemble CL to maintain communications if the motor power is
removed, such as in an Emergency Stop condition. The control power supply requires a minimum of 85 VAC
input to operate properly. The AC1 input is internally fused. The AC2 input is not internally fused but can be
connected to a voltage source other than Neutral if an external 2 A time-delay fuse is used.
Although the control power supply contains an internal filter, an additional external filter located as close as
possible to the Ensemble CL may be required for CE compliance (Aerotech recommends Schaffner
FN2080).
