Intended use, modifications to the device

Intended use
The SICHARGE D dispenser has up to two dedicated connections for charging the batteries of
electric vehicles. The vehicle must have a CCS2 type DC charging socking.
The usage of adapters between charging plug and vehicle, for example to extend the
charging cable or to charge vehicles in a way that deviates from the intended standards, is
not permitted.
The dispenser can be used indoors and outdoors. For proper use, the permissible ambient
conditions at the location of use must be observed. The SICHARGE D dispenser may only be
operated in a perfect technical condition.
Alterations to the device
The operating instructions describe all permissible modifications to the dispenser. An other
modification is not permitted. Unauthorized modifications void the manufacturer's warranty
and the approvals of the device become invalid.
No modifications to the dispenser are permitted. This applies to both electrical modifications
(connecting, disconnecting or swapping connections of electrical devices, etc.) and
mechanical modifications (e.g. bores). Modifications void the operating permit and warranty.
Basically, any person is permitted to use the SICHARGE D dispenser to charge electric vehicles
in accordance with the requirements for operation. Only trained and authorized personnel is
allowed to perform maintenance. The SICHARGE D dispenser may only be opened by
authorized persons (electricians).
The SICHARGE D dispenser is intended for charging electric vehicles according to
EN 61851‑1/‑23 and must not be used for other vehicles or purposes. Any other use is not as
intended and constitutes misuse of the device.
