General safety instructions

Qualified personnel
All work may only be performed after receiving instruction. Electrical work may only be performed by
skilled electricians or by electrically trained persons under the direction and supervision of a skilled
electrician. A skilled electrician is someone who, based on their technical training, knowledge and
experience as well as knowledge of the relevant standards, can assess the work assigned to them and
recognize possible dangers.
Non-electrical work, such as transport and assembly, may only be performed by qualified personnel.
Qualified personnel are qualified by training and experience to recognize risks arising during the respective
work and to avoid possible hazards.
Personal protective equipment
Personal protective equipment protects you against hazards to your health and safety. Use your personal
protective equipment in accordance with safety at work guidelines and accident prevention regulations.
Protection against unauthorized access
Secure the assembly area and prevent unauthorized persons from entering by erecting warning signs and
barriers. An opened device must always be supervised. Lock up the device after work and keep the key in a
safe place.
Fall protection when working above a height of 1 m
Ensure safe footing when working and use work platforms with fall arresters when working at heights
above 1 m. Also take the necessary precautions to prevent tools and components from falling.
Fire and explosion protection
Do not store or use flammable liquids that produce flammable vapors, such as gasoline or ethanol, in the
vicinity of the device. Electrostatic charges or heat generated during charging can ignite explosive and
flammable liquids.
Risk of electric shock if equipment is damaged
If components are damaged, dangerous voltages may be present on the enclosure or exposed
components, which can result in serious bodily injury or death. Report damaged equipment and have the
dispenser shut down and repaired.
Warnings and safety signs
Observe the attached warning notices and safety signs. Ensure that missing or unrecognizable warnings
and safety signs are immediately replaced.
