Behavior in the event of errors and error messages

In the event of an error, the charging station automatically performs error diagnostics. In the
event of an error, it sends one or more error messages to the OCPP backend and the SCB. The
error messages in the SCB have a very high level of detail and help with error analyses in the
event of service.
The charging station displays the following messages on the central touch screen to inform
the end user:
• Error messages in full screen mode:
– Error message "The emergency stop switch has been activated" (Page 68)
– Error message "Charging station out of service" (Page 70)
• Error messages in the menu:
– Error message "Outlet out of service" (Page 71)
– Error message "Reinsertion of charging cable" (Page 72)

Error message "Emergency Stop was triggered"

To bring the charging station into a safe state immediately in case of danger, the charging
station can be equipped with an optional Emergency Stop switch. If this is actuated, an error
message appears on the charging station display.
NOTICE
Only DC load voltage is switched off
In the case of Emergency Stop, the DC load voltage is switched off. The 230 V auxiliary
power supply is not switched off.
Description
The Emergency Stop switch and door contact switch of the SICHARGE D charging station and
the dispenser are connected in series. If a door is opened or an Emergency Stop switch is
actuated, the DC load voltage is switched off. The controller distinguishes between an
Emergency Stop and service activity based on signaling contacts on the emergency stop
switch and the door contact switches.
