Basic safety instructions

The charging station complies with all prescribed technical safety standards and thereby
offers the greatest possible product safety. To ensure the safety of all persons, systems and
equipment at all times, adhere to the following basic safety instructions.
Guidelines and regulations
In order to ensure comprehensive safety, adhere to the following guidelines and regulations:
• Guidelines for occupational safety
• Regulations for prevention of accidents
• Trade regulations
• Technical connection conditions of the power supply unit
• Building regulations
• Generally accepted rules of technology
• DIN ISO 0100-600, or IEC 60364-6 and other country-specific regulations
Target group
These operating instructions are intended for the following persons:
• Planners
– Plan the location of use of the charging station.
• Carriers
– Transport the charging station to the location of use.
• Installers
– Install the charging station.
• Qualified electricians
– Connect electrical cables to the charging station.
– Perform electrotechnical work on the charging station.
• Users
– Charge the electric vehicles.
• Service personnel
– Perform maintenance and service.
Intended use
The intended use of the charging station is exclusively to charge the battery of an electric
vehicle. For this, the electric vehicle must be equipped with a charging socket of the type CCS
Combo 2. The charging station charges electric vehicles according to the standards
EN 62196‑3 and EN 61851‑23.
Charging is only possible with a charging cable at the charging station. Any other or
additional use is not in accordance with the intended use and constitutes misuse of the
device. The charging station is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. The permissible ambient
conditions at the place of use must be observed for intended use.
