4.2 Timing of zigzag stitch to needle motion

Proper setting
When sewing the maximal zigzag stitch, the needle should shift in the lat-
eral direction at the time when it is over the sewn material.

(1) - Gear
1. Dismantle the arm cover ( p. 13).
2. Loosen two screws (2) of the gear (1).
3. Turn the hand wheel to the position where the proper setting is complied
4. Tighten the screws (2).
5. Check whether the needle is without any motion at the time when it sis
