10. RAID1

10.4.3 When a Problem Occurs During Recovery Operation

(1) Rebuilding does not start.
The RAID1 might not detect the connection of the drive or a used drive might have been
installed as the replacement drive.
1. Confirm that the status of the mounted drive is displayed as "Offline" in the hardware
status display window. If you mounted the replacement drive before "Not mounted"
was displayed, remove the drive, confirm that "Not mounted" is displayed, and then
mount it.
2. Check the "System" category of the event log and check whether a RAID1 event log
(event ID: 3001, source: HTsfRaid_SYS) was recorded. If an event log was recorded,
take the following action according to the factor code in the event log description.
• For 0x0504310* ("*" is a numeric value.)
You might have mounted a drive that has previously been used as a RAID1. Confirm
that the mounted drive has not failed. Additionally, if the mounted drive has been
used as a backup drive, restore the backup drive to an initialized state as described in
"10.4.5 Recovery method when a normal drive is accidentally taken offline", and
then perform recovery operation again.
• For values other than 0x0504310* ("*" is a numeric value.)
Access to the mounted drive might have failed. Check the health of the drive.
(2) A blue screen (0x9502) occurs when the OS starts after drive replacement.
The drive might have been used as a RAID1 array for other equipment. Use a new drive
or an initialized drive as a replacement drive.
