Voltage and Frequency Trip Settings

The PWRcell Inverter ships from the factory in compli-
ance with UL 1741. The inverter nameplate
specifies compliance with applicable UL 1741 Supple-
ments (e.g. UL 1741-SA, UL 1741-SB). A PWRcell
Inverter compliant with UL 1741-SA is shipped with
default settings per IEEE 1547-2003. A PWRcell Inverter
compliant with UL 1741-SB is shipped with default set-
tings per IEEE 1547-2018. A list of the default values and
range of adjustability for UL 1741 SB tested functions is
found in Table 10-1. Where local Electric Utility require-
ments for smart inverters specify non-default inverter set-
tings (per the locally adopted IEEE 1547 grid standard),
follow the steps in the Set Inverter Grid Compliance sec-
tion of this manual.
NOTE: Use of Grid Profiles in compliance with local
Electric Utility smart inverter requirements may exceed
the tested range of adjustment for UL 1741-SB listed
inverters.
