IMPORTANT NOTE: If polarity is wired incorrectly, nei-
ther device will see a STOP condition and it will not be
possible to shutdown either device via the STOP termi-
nals until the wiring is corrected.

AC Wiring

See Figure 5-7. The installer is responsible for installing
40 A overcurrent protection for wiring to AC Grid
Connection Terminals (A). The conductors shall be sized
in accordance with NEC Article 705 for the utility power
interconnection. All other conductors in the system shall
be sized in accordance with NEC Article 310 and all other
applicable NEC Articles.
IMPORTANT: The XVT076A03 model PWRcell Inverter
is for use with 120/240 VAC 1-Phase (Wye) grid services.
NOTE: Class 2 low voltage cable shall be installed
independent of other power conductors. See NEC
725.136 for additional information.
See Figure 5-7. The PWRcell Inverter is equipped with
four AC Grid Connection terminals and three Protected
Loads terminals.

Use the AC Grid Connection terminals (A) for con-
nection to the utility grid.
NOTE: The L3 terminal is not used. Do not land any wir-
ing to this terminal.
•
Use the Protected Loads terminals (B) for pro-
tected loads output.
•
The AC Grid Connection terminals of a PWRcell
Inverter must not be powered by another PWRcell
Inverter's protected loads terminals during backup
operation (Island Mode).
•
The protected loads terminals of two or more
PWRcell Inverters must not be wired to support the
same load panel simultaneously.
