Connecting the failsafe alarm relay
The failsafe alarm relay is a floating switch that latches to its default state when a
power disruption or alarm condition occurs. Individual alarms can be configured to
trigger the failsafe alarm relay.
The relay can also be triggered manually through SINEC OS. For more
information, refer to the associated

software release.
Connect the failsafe alarm relay to an I/O output to remotely monitor the relay state.

Verify the open/close state is caused by the device itself or some other hardware
Keep the relay in an open/close state while troubleshooting a network issue
