The following are available for server management:
HDM—Hardware Device Management, an embedded management system integrating
software and hardware in a server. It monitors, manages, and controls server hardware
throughout its lifecycle, enabling customers to achieve smarter server maintenance and more
efficient lifecycle management.
The new generation of HDM is developed based on the Intel Eagle Stream platform and
AST2600, undergoing comprehensive upgrades in terms of operation convenience,
maintainability, and user experience.
FIST—Fast Intelligent Scalable Toolkit, an intelligent server management software in a unified
manner. It can effectively help enterprises improve operational efficiency and reduce
maintenance costs. Customers can flexibly deploy and configure servers according to their
specific needs, creating a customized maintenance environment.
FIST SMS—FIST System Management Service, a software that works in conjunction with HDM
to monitor server resources and performance indicators. In addition, FIST SMS supports
transferring HDM event logs and updating server firmware and driver versions.
iFIST—Integrated Fast Intelligent Scalable Toolkit, an embedded server deployment tool for
standalone intelligent deployments. It can help customers complete the entire life cycle of
intelligent management, including server onboarding, upgrading, deployment, diagnosis,
maintenance, and data clearance, effectively improving server deployment efficiency.
REPO—Repository, a collection of server firmware and drivers, including but not limited to
firmware and drivers for network adapters and storage controllers. REPO is used for upgrading
servers and their components. In combination with other New H3C software, REPO covers
various customer upgrade scenarios, including single node online or offline upgrade and bulk
online or offline upgrades. This meets the requirements of multiple upgrade scenarios through
one single architecture, simplifying operations and improving maintenance and upgrade
efficiency.
