FUNCTION CHECK

To avoid serious injury, do not operate machine if any control levers or toggle
switches controlling platform movements do not return to the off position when
released.
To avoid a collision and injury if platform does not stop when a control switch or
lever is released, remove foot from footswitch or use emergency stop to stop
machine.
2.6.1 Prior to Function Check
Prior to performing the function check, verify the battery disconnect on the side of the
frame works properly by doing the following.
1. Position the Platform/Ground Select switch to the
ground position.
2. Pull out the Power/Emergency Stop Switch on the
ground console to power up the machine.
3. Turn the Battery Disconnect Switch to the Off position.
4. Watch the Display Gauge on the Ground Control Con-
sole to verify the power is disconnected.
