Inserting DIC condenser prisms:
Insert prisms K

, etc into the large holes as

follows:
• Turn back the centering screws slightly.
• Prism labeling upward, the name K
be near the dot marking on the edge of the
hole.
Note:
ICT (transmitted light interference contrast)
will not be possible if the prism is inserted ro-
tated by 180°!
• The 2 catches on the underside of the prism
must click exactly into the guide slit.
• Screw in the centering screws slightly, check-
ing that all prisms can be moved properly in
direction
and are close to the lower edge
of the hole.
• Stick self-adhesive labels on to the smooth ar-
eas on the opposite side (i.e. on the other side
of the axis of rotation) from the light ring or
prism.

Attention:
Before fitting the disk into the condenser, make
sure that neither of the centering screws is
sticking out at the side.

• Fasten the condenser disk with the axis

screw, check that the disk rotates properly
through 360°.
• Affix the condenser with the condenser's
clamping screw.
