H.239/People+Content Star Cascading

H.239/People+Content Star Cascading is available with mixed H.320 and H.323 Video
Switching conferences.

Detailed Description

In MGC version 7.0, H.239/People+Content Star Cascading was only available in an IP
Video Switching environment.
Highlights:
H.320 cascade links use the H.239 protocol and not Polycom P+C protocol, as in IP
cascaded conferences.

All the conferences in the Star Cascading topology must have the same settings for the
conference: line rate, audio algorithm, Video Parameters (Video Protocol, Video Format,
Video Frame Rate, Annexes, and ProMotion) and other conferencing features such as
Encryption.
One central MCU is required in a conference. A slave MCU can only be cascaded to
the main MCU. A Slave MCU cannot be cascaded with other slave MCUs.
Only two cascade options - "Master" and "Slave" - is available in H.320 H.239/ P+C
cascade. There will be no "Auto" cascade mode like in regular H.320 cascade.
IVR is supported. However, if Node Type in the Participant Properties - Advanced is
set to MCU, no IVR service is available.
Encryption is supported.
H.243 site names for H.320 are supported
H.239 can only be implemented when in the system.cfg: H.239=YES.
