Connecting terminals to the network cable

Both DMX512 and ETCLink terminals connect to the network with eight pin
terminal plugs. These plugs can be removed to make connecting wires easier.
Connecting terminals between the dimmer rack and the end of the network cable
1. Cut the network cable, leaving 10-12 inches (25-30cm) extra at both ends.
2. Follow the instructions in Preparing data cables for network connection
on page 18 to prepare both ends of the network cable.
3. Connect the wires to the terminal using the figure below. Because these
terminals are not at the end of the network there should be two wires
connecting to each slot. These connections are not terminated.

4. Install the wallplate on the backbox using the included faceplate screws.
