Connecting the line feed wires

Line feed cables are terminated in the racks connections bay on 175 amp
switch assemblies or on standard bus bars.
1. Pull the line phase and ground cables to the rack through the openings you
prepared previously. (See Using a wire trough for line cable and power
wire access on page 15)
Note: Cable entry from the bottom of the rack will require a large radius loop
in each cable to connect to the lugs on top of the switch assemblies.
2. Strip 1 inch of insulation from the end of the line phase and ground cables
and attach them to the correct lugs. Line connections are labeled R, S T,
and Ground .

3. Tighten the lugs to the correct torque based on cable size.
