Description
● If the MDU is connected to a
computer over a network
cable, the IP address can
only be allocated manually.
The IP addresses of the
MDU and computer must be
on the same network
segment, and must be
different.
● If the MDU is connected to a
computer over a LAN switch
or router with the DHCP
function, the IP address can
be allocated manually or
automatically. IP address
allocation is set to Manual
by default.
– Manual: Check that their
IP addresses are two
different values on the
same network segment.
Set the SmartLi IP
address to be in the same
subnet as the computer
IP address.
– Automatic: The MDU
automatically searches
for available IP addresses
in the connected
network. Ensure that the
MDU and computer IP
addresses are on the
same network segment.
NOTE
After you restart the device, IP
address allocation changes back
to Manual. The IP address
changes to the IP address set
previously.
Specifies the IP address of the
Ethernet.
NOTICE
Ensure that the SmartLi IP address
is unique on the network segment.
Otherwise, the WebUI display
function may not function
properly.
