Occupant safety
Move the rear seat backrests into an

upright position.
Ensure that the rear seat backrest is engaged. To
do so, pull forcefully on the seat backrest.
¯ If the child restraint system is equipped
with a Top Tether belt:
The risk of injury can be reduced by a Top
Tether. The Top Tether belt enables an
additional connection between the child
restraint system attached with ISOFIX or
i‑Size and the vehicle.
Remove the load compartment cover and the
#
partitioning net (
page 98).

If necessary, slide head restraint
#

page 84).

Fit the ISOFIX or i‑Size child restraint system
#
with Top Tether. In doing so, comply with the
child restraint system manufacturer's instal‐
lation instructions.
