The values displayed in the multifunction dis‐
play may deviate from those of the tyre pres‐
sure gauge as they refer to sea level. At high
elevations, the tyre pressure values indica‐
ted by a pressure gauge are higher than
those shown by the on-board computer. In
this case, do not reduce the tyre pressure.
Restarting the tyre pressure monitoring sys‐
tem
Requirements:
The recommended tyre pressure is correctly

set for the respective operating status on all
of the wheels (
page 387).

Restart the tyre pressure monitoring system in
the following situations:
The tyre pressure has changed.

The wheels or tyres have been changed or
R
newly fitted.

Notes on selecting, fitting and replacing
tyres
Mercedes-AMG vehicles: observe the notes in
the Supplement. You could otherwise fail to rec‐
ognise dangers.
You can ask for information regarding permitted
wheel/tyre combinations at a Mercedes-Benz
Service Centre.
& WARNING Risk of injury through incor‐
rect sizes of wheels and tyres
If wheels and tyres of the wrong size are fit‐
ted, the wheel brakes or components in the
brake system and in the wheel suspension
may be damaged.
Always replace wheels and tyres with

those that fulfil the specifications of the
original part.
