Notes on refilling AdBlue
®
®
AdBlue
is a water-soluble fluid for the NOx
exhaust gas aftertreatment of diesel engines. In
order for the exhaust gas aftertreatment to func‐
®
tion properly, only use AdBlue
with ISO 22241.
®
AdBlue
is characterised by the following:
non-toxic
R
colourless and odourless
R
non-flammable
R
If you open the AdBlue
®
tank, small amounts of
ammonia vapour may be released. Only fill the
®
AdBlue
tank in well-ventilated areas.
®
Do not let AdBlue
come into contact with skin,
®
eyes or clothes. Keep AdBlue
dren.
®
Do not ingest AdBlue
. If AdBlue
immediately rinse your mouth out thoroughly.
Drink plenty of water. Seek medical attention at
once.
Observe the notes on operating fluids
(
page 405).
