Front panel LED indicators

The SmartOTDR is equipped with three LED indicators, lit into a different color according
to the status of the unit.

Solid green
Charge indicator
Solid green
Solid red
Testing indicator
Solid red
When the Charge indicator is blinking red, this mean the power supply is not compatible
with the battery used. Charge is disabled.

Power Supply

The SmartOTDR operates with the following power source
Indicators Status
The unit is off and connected to an external power source.
The unit is on, connected to an external power supply or
operating on battery power.
The unit is connected to an external power source and the
battery is fully charged.
The unit is connected to an external power source, and the
battery is on charge.
An OTDR measurement is in progress
