NOTICE
Never place food, medicines or other tem-
perature-sensitive objects close to the air
vents. Food, medicines and other objects
sensitive to heat or cold may be damaged
or made unsuitable for use by the air coming
from the vents.
Note
Using the stationary air conditioning with-
out connecting the charging cable reduces
the vehicle's range. At extreme exterior tem-
peratures, the heating or cooling power of
the stationary air conditioning may be insuf-
ficient to reach the desired temperature.
Operating the stationary air condi-
tioning
✓ Valid for: hybrid vehicles.
Open the Battery Manager menu
1. Switch the ignition on.
2. Switch on the infotainment system.
3. Select Battery Manager from the main
menu.

Using the stationary air conditioning without
plugging in the charging connector
The stationary air conditioning can be used
without the charging connector being plugged
in. When the charging connector is not plugged
in, the stationary air conditioning receives the
necessary electrical power from the high-volt-
age battery.
1. Open the Battery Manager menu.
2. Select the Settings menu.
3. Activate the function Air condition using
battery current.
The stationary air conditioning only works if the
high voltage battery is sufficiently charged.
Setting the desired temperature
1. Open the Battery Manager menu.
2. Select the Settings menu.
3. Press Interior temperature.
Switch off the stationary air conditioning
manually

Note
● If the state of charge of the high voltage
battery drops excessively, it is not possible
to switch on the stationary air conditioning.
● Noises will be heard while the stationary
air conditioning is running, caused by its op-
eration.
● The longer or the more often the station-
ary air conditioning is used without external
power, the more the high-voltage battery will
be discharged.
Programming the stationary air con-
ditioning
✓ Valid for: hybrid vehicles.
The stationary air conditioning can be pro-
grammed in the Infotainment system for a
scheduled departure time. You can set the de-
sired temperature of the vehicle interior for the
vehicle's planned departure time.
Based on the desired temperature, the vehicle
calculates the time that the stationary air con-
ditioning needs to be switched on to reach this
temperature by the departure time.
