The number of characters which can be displayed depends on the characters used.
 Setup → Advanced setup → Display → Separator
Select decimal separator for displaying numerical values.

Choose number format for the display.

The ft-in-1/16'' option is only valid for distance units.
 Setup → Advanced setup → Display → Dec. places menu
Select number of decimal places for the representation of numbers within the operating
menu.

• Is only valid for numbers in the operating menu (e.g. Empty calibration, Full
calibration), but not for the measured value display. The number of decimal places for
the measured value display is defined in the Decimal places 1 to 4 →  144
parameters.
• The setting does not affect the accuracy of the measurement or the calculations.
