Printing with Layout Manager

Note:
Use the Layout Manager function when connected to
the printer (in the printable state).

Prepare the print data by using an application.

Open the printer driver window.
See "From Windows applications" on page

Select the Layout Manager check box and
select the size of the document made with the
application as Size.
Note:
The Size you set here is the data size placed on the
poster layout. The actual printing paper size is set in
the Properties window in step 7.

Start printing.
The Layout Manager window opens.
The print data is not printed, but one page is
placed on the paper of the poster layout as one
object.

Variety of Printings
Note:
You can open the Layout Manger window in advance.
If a shortcut icon is displayed on your Windows
System Tray, right-click the shortcut icon, and select
Layout Manager to open the Layout Manager window.

If you want to place multiple print data, repeat
step 1 to 4 while keeping the Layout Manger
window opened.
The print data is added to the Layout Manager
window.

In the Layout Manager window, place the
objects.
In the Layout Manager window, besides
moving and resizing the objects by dragging,
you can also align and rotate them by using the
tool buttons and the Objects menu. You can
resize and place the whole object in the
Preference or Arrangement Settings dialog
boxes.
