10. PRECAUTIONS

Precautions on the sample screens are as follows.
(1) When changing the settings of recipe function set in the sample screens
When changing the settings of the recipe function in the sample screens, delete the recipe files stored in the
SD card which is inserted to the GOT.
When not deleting the recipe files stored in the SD card, there is a possibility that a system alarm occurs in the
GOT, and the recipe function does not operate correctly.
(2) Trigger of recipe function
When the recipe function is used in your project data, make sure to perform the setting to turn off the write
trigger device and the read trigger device of the recipe after the recipe starts to operate.
Otherwise, the recipe setting of the sample screens does not operate correctly.
(3) SD card
When using the sample screens, make sure to insert an SD card to the GOT before turning on the power supply
of the GOT. If an SD card is inserted to the GOT after the power supply of the GOT is turned on, the SD card
may not operate correctly.
(4) Search time of document display
When performing a keyword search through the document in the "B-15810 Manual Display" screen of the
sample screens, it may take time to finish the search.
(5) Simultaneous monitoring with MR Configurator2
When connecting the sample screens and MR Configurator2 simultaneously, there is a possibility that the
monitoring is disconnected. When using MR Configurator2, check that the sample screens are not displayed on
the GOT.
(6) When connecting servo amplifiers via a MELSEC iQ-F series programmable controller
When connecting servo amplifiers via a MELSEC iQ-F series programmable controller, CH1 is used to
communicate with servo amplifiers. If you have already used CH1 in your project data to monitor the devices
on the programmable controller, you may be monitoring the devices both on the programmable controller and
servo amplifiers at the same time depending on the situation. This can cause a slowdown in monitor speed.
(7) When transitioning the screen from your project data to a sample screen
When transitioning from the base screen of your project data to the base screen of a sample screen, go to the
base screen B-15500 Main menu (1) or B-15501 Main menu (2) first, otherwise the sample screens may not
work properly.
(8) When the system alarm "402 Communication timeout. Confirm the communication pathway or
modules." occurs immediately after starting the GOT
A system alarm may occur if it takes time to start up a device within the system. In that case, increase the time
until the GOT starts communication in [Startup Time (Sec)] in the Detail Setting.
