Server Configuration
T1/E1/ANALOG.EXE
T1.EXE, E1.EXE, and ANALOG.EXE are executables called by
VOXMAN to manage individual voice channel communications. The
channel executables are configured only in VOICE.INI, and must be of the
same type.
Note: Normally, only one of the listed executables is used with a particular
installation.
FILTER.EXE
The Filter executable drives the Nortel Quality Monitoring Random
function. Once initialized, Filter watches incoming CTI events for Begin
Call events. Upon receipt of each Begin Call event, Filter first determines if
the agent receiving a call is set to be monitored by Random. If the agent
meets that condition, Random uses its random number-generating
algorithm to determine if the call should be recorded. If the call is not
chosen, the call is counted towards that agent's total number of received
calls.
Note: Filter also supports recording based on Business Rules.
SIUMAN.EXE
SIUMAN.EXE receives events from the ACD/PBX by way of a TCP/IP
connection. These events include Logon, Logoff, Alerting, Begin Call, and
End Call. These events are parsed and sent to the Filter for further action.
SIUMAN.EXE is a portal for events to be passed to Nortel Quality
Monitoring. All decisions relating to the recording of calls are made by the
Filter. SIUMAN.EXE is modular and can be snapped in, depending on
ACD/PBX or CTI applications.
