8. Function Switch and Initialization

Permission or Prohibition

8.1.
The balance stores parameters that must not be changed carelessly (ex. Calibration data for precision
weighing, Data for adapting to environment, Control data for RS-232C interface, etc.). There are five
switches for the purpose of preserving these parameters. Each switch can select either "permission" or
"prohibition". The "prohibition" protects careless operation.

Operation
Step 1
Turn off the display using the ON:OFF key.
Step 2
Press the ON:OFF key while the RANGE key and PRINT key are pressed and held. Then the
balance displays
Step 3
Press the PRINT key. Then the balance displays the switch settings.
Step 4
Set the switches using the following keys.
RANGE key
RE-ZERO key The key to change the setting of the switch.
PRINT key
CAL key
(Factory setting)

To inhibit change to the function table.

To use calibration.

To inhibit calibration.
