First of all prepare a normal espresso in a cappuccino cup following the machine in-
structions. If you want 2 cappuccinos, prepare 2 espresso in 2 cups.
RECOMMENDED MILK: for excellent results in terms of creaminess and full flavour, it is advis-
able to use full fat milk (fresh pasteurised or UHT) that has been refrigerated at 6-8°C.

Pour the cold milk into the cappuccinatore cup until it reaches the level recommended
for 1 or 2 cups of cappuccino (MIN or MAX).

Insert the power unit (with frother already attached) into the cup. Insert the power cord
in the power unit input socket .

Insert the steam spout support in the opening in the power unit, feeding it downwards
until it is fully inserted .
Press the cappuccinatore on/off switch and then activate the machine steam spout.

Completely open steam knob, if present .

Keep an eye on the light indicator (thermometer). The froth is ready when the heat-sen-
sitive black strip turns green. The milk will be a temperature of around 65-70°C, perfect
for cappuccino .

Stop the steam flow from the machine and press the cappuccinatore on/off switch
again to stop the frother.
STEAM DISPENSER: To activate the steam function on the Lavazza A MODO MIO machine
read the instructions booklet provided with the machine.
Never use a quantity of milk greater or inferior to the recommended amount (MIN or MAX).
Only use the Lavazza transformer provided or an original spare part.
