Camera, Focus Final Adjustment

1. Select Quick Correct.
2. Optical Adjustment Pattern.
3. Select MTF.
4. Select Camera Adj.
5. Adjust the focus until
a. The MTF (Red, Green and Blue curves) are over the straight green line.
b. The MTF difference curves (distance between the red green and blue curves) are
green (lower part of the image).
c. The green arrows above camera transitions turn green
6. Deselect MTF.
7. Select camera A.
8. Lightly loosen the Camera Base Fixing Screws (1).
9. Adjust the Scan Width until the arrow in the Scan Width box (circled with red in image below)
is within the black box (arrow turned green).
10. Tighten the Camera Base Plate Fixing Screws (1).
11. Check/adjust Tilt. If the difference between start and end is more than 1 line, Tilt must be
adjusted.
12. Repeat for other cameras (select B, C, D, E in turn).
13. Replace/tighten Stepper Motor Fixing Screws (7) on all cameras.
