Test 12. Adjust Y-axis Scaling.
Here the Y scaling can be adjusted.
Scan a known size image measure in Nextimage, compare and adjust.
The correction is done in % of the deviation.
Test 20. Noise Test
This test is very useful if there are image quality issues such as streaks throughout the scan. (scan
direction). It can be determined if the streaks are caused by dust witch was either:
1) Present in the scanner (Dark streak that goes below the average line).
2) Present during Calibration.
(White streak that goes above the average line). Insert Calibration sheet when asked.
Test 5. Lamp on/off.
The control and the feedback of the Lamp can be checked. The number in parentheses is an average
gray tone level taken from camera A.
