Charging the battery
(Easy Rider Compact)
To remove the battery from the Easy Rider Compact
and charge it, follow these steps:
1. Unlock the battery by turning the key a quarter
turn.
2. Push the lock in.
3. Slide the battery pack a few centimetres out of the
holder.
4. You can now lift the battery off. Use two hands for
this if necessary.
5. Take the battery inside with you. First plug the
charger into the power outlet. The green LED will
light up. The charger is now on standby.
6. Then plug the charging connector of the charger
into the charging point of the battery. The red LED
will light up. The charger is now charging.
Caution! If the battery is not properly
connected, then the green LED will be on
(standby mode). In case of an unsatisfactory
connection, unplug the charger from the
power outlet and clean its connector with a
dry cloth.
7. The charging time depends on the battery status.
The charging time is approximately 2 hours for a
11.4 Ah/36 V battery and approximately 4.5 hours
for a 24.8 Ah/36 V battery.
8. As soon as the battery is fully charged, the green
LED will light up continuously. Now first remove
the charging connector from the battery.
9. Then remove the charger's plug from the power
outlet.
