The connector may have been installed at the factory. If so, skip step one.

You may cut the cable to a shorter length before terminating wires. If the connector is already installed,

you can remove it, cut the cable to length and re-install it.

TO TERMINATE CABLE IN CONNECTOR: Strip off 2" of jacket insulation. Strip about 1/4" insulation

from wires. Insert wires and capture with screws. Make sure screws bite into stripped wire and not the

insulation. Do not strip insulation too far back leaving bare wires outside the connector, as they may

touch adjacent bare wires and cause a short.

You may cut the coax to a shorter length BUT ONLY IF you terminate the end with compression fittings

(example: Thomas and Betts Snap-N-Seal connectors). DO NOT USE SCREW-ON CONNECTORS.

1 . Terminate control cable wires in connector .

Pay special attention to

terminate the tan wire (#12)

and the brown wire (#2) in

their proper locations, as they

look similar.

Terminating any of the wires in

the wrong location may

damage the electronics.

2 . Connect components and place in cabinet .

Coil and place extra wiring in back of cabinet for easy removal of controller . Do not stack

electronic components . Leave adequate space around components for heat dispersion .

After completing the installation, or anytime after manually moving the dish, you should reset the

system as follows before starting a search:

• Press POWER to enter the menu .

• Press UP/DOWN arrows to display Menu item 7 "TEST DISH ."

• Press POWER to select it .

• The antenna will go thru one complete movement cycle and reset itself .
