Section 5
This section describes troubleshooting of the system. Do not open the positioner. Opening
the positioner will break the environmental seal. This will void the warranty. This
troubleshooting guide assumes:
Use of 1 positioner
Use of 1 joystick controller

Possible Cause
An electronic limit stop has
been reached.
The system is not receiving
power.
The power supply is wrong.
The system is not receiving
data
System settings are incorrect. Reset the factory defaults (See
The controller is in a menu.
The system wiring is
incorrect.
Wires are broken or
improperly terminated.
The electronic limit stops
have been set so that the
positioner cannot move.
The positioner is faulty.
Accupoint Positioners
Remedy
Check the current position of the
electronic limit stop. If it is set in
an incorrect position, reset it
(Section 3.4.3.7).
Check Wiring (Section 2.6.3)
Check System Configuration
(Section 2.6.2)
Check Wiring (Section 2.6.3) and
controller setting
Joystick Controller Manual).
Exit the menu.
Check System Configuration
(Section 2.6)
Check the wires and
connections.
Check the current position of the
electronic limit stop. If it is set in
an incorrect position, reset it
(Section 3.4.3.7).
