Service the PA-5400 Series Firewall Hardware
OK(Top/AC LED)
The PA-5450 has one power supply for AC power and one for DC power. Use the two following
tables to learn how to interpret the single LED on a PA-5450 AC and DC power supply.
AC Power Supply
Solid Green
Blinking Green (0.5Hz)
Blinking Green (2Hz)
Solid Yellow
Off
DC Power Supply
Solid Green
Blinking Green (0.5Hz)

PA-5400 Series Next-Gen Firewall Hardware Reference
• Solid yellow—The power supply failed.
This can also indicate a fan failure or
overheating condition.
• Blinking yellow and green (Alternating at
2:1 ratio)—The power supply is at high
temperature.
• Solid green—The power supply is operating
normally.
• Blinking yellow—The power input is
present but the power supply is disabled by
the system.
• Off—No power input or the power supply
failed.
Power output is on.
Standby mode. AC power is present but only
at 12VSB (Volts Standby).
Power supply is in redundant state or in sleep
mode.
Power supply critical failure.
No AC power or AC power cord is unplugged.
Power output is on.
Standby mode. DC power is present but only
at 12VSB (Volts Standby).
Power supply warning such as high
temperature, high current, or slow fan.
Power supply is in standby state.
Power supply critical failure.
