Installation of LP
Conversion Kit:
1. Shut off the gas and electrical supply.
2. Remove the safety screen*.
3.
Remove the glass door*.
4.
Remove the logs, glass, and any other
media* if already installed.
5.
Remove the two log supports* and log
grate assembly by removing 2 screws and
sliding the tray forward to remove.
*(See specific instructions in unit manual.)
Diagram 1: Remove the left and right
screws.
6. Remove three screws then remove the burner
assembly.

the right—then remove.

IF IN DOUBT DO NOT DO THIS CONVERSION !!
7. Change the air shutter cap. Remove the cap by
removing one screw as shown. When installing
LP air shutter cap, do not fully tighten the
screw so that the cap can be freely rotated.

8. Remove the pilot retainer clip below the
pilot cap.

9. Pull off the pilot cap to expose the pilot
orifice.
10. Unscrew the pilot orifice with the Allen
11. Re-install pilot cap and pilot retainer clip.
12. Remove burner orifice with a 3/8" wrench.
14. Loosen the two Phillips head screws as

Use another wrench to hold on to the elbow
behind the orifice. Discard orifice.
13. Reinstall new burner orifice LPG stamped
#51 and tighten.
